Turn alerts ON/OFF
The switch button to turn alerts ON or OFF is found in the General Settings in the left-side menu of the app. Simply tick or un-tick the box on the right-side of a specific alert type to enable or disable all related notifications.

 

Customize a specific tracker’s alerts
- Click on the tracker
- Open its Settings (right icon)
- Under the menu "This tracker is for", press "Customize"

 

- Here you can:

  1. Customize the Battery Alerts
    - Turn them ON or OFF on the top right corner
    - Select at which battery level you wish to receive a notification


  2. Customize the Speed Alerts
    - Turn them ON or OFF on the top right corner
    - By default, you have three levels: "Extremely Fast", "Fast" and "Slow". By clicking on one of these, you will be able to adjust its name and the speed limit at which you will receive a notification if exceeded.
     

  3. Turn the GPS Signal Alerts ON or OFF


 - Do not forget to Press "Save" when going back to the tracker’s Settings homepage



To customize a Geofence’s notification settings, please refer to this article.

Choose A Notification Tone
- Open the left-side menu
- Click on the Settings icon (top right)
- Click on the arrow next to the alert type which you would like to change the notification tone for
- Choose the tone you would like to use
- Press "OK"/"Back"
- Save by clicking on "Done" in the upper right corner on Android, or "Close" in the upper left corner on iOS

(Please Note: Geofence notification tone cannot be changed yet)

  

2. Augmented reality

How To Use Augmented Reality
On the app home screen, simply press the button on the top right corner (). The camera function will be triggered, enabling you to "point locate" your child or pet. Simply move your smartphone around until the Tracker GPS locator comes into view.

You have the option to use it in full screen or split screen. To use the Split Screen option, simply press this icon in the top right corner ().

How To Exit The Augmented Reality Mode

To exit the Augmented reality view, simply click on the exit icon in the top right corner of the map ().

If you were using the camera function in full screen, you will have to go to the split screen view first. To go to the Split Screen view, simply press this icon in the top right corner (). Then press the exit button in the top right corner of the map view ().

Create a Geofence
- Open the bottom menu
- Click on the Geofence icon (third from the left)
- At the bottom of the screen, select the Geofence type you would like to create (Rectangular, Polygonal, Free Hand or Proximity)

  

- Draw, or edit the size, shape and orientation of the Geofence
- Press "✔"  on the top right corner of the screen
- Give the Geofence a name

  

- Edit the Geofence’s color, picture and schedule if you wish to
- Click "Save" on the top right corner of the screen
- Add other Geofence if you wish to, or press "Close" on the top right corner of the screen

  

Edit a Geofence
To edit the shape or size of the Geofence:
- Click on the Geofence you would like to edit
- Click on the Edit icon (pen)
- Edit the size, shape or orientation of the Geofence
- Press "✔"/"Save" on the top right corner of the screen

  

To edit a Geofence’s general details:
- Click on the Geofence
- Click on the Settings icon
- Modify the name, color, picture or schedule of the Geofence
- Click "Save" on top of the screen

  

Delete a Geofence
- Click on the Geofence you would like to edit
- Click on the Settings icon
- On the top right corner of the screen, click on "Delete"
- Confirm by clicking on "Yes"

Deleting Geofences cannot be undone!

  

Customize a Geofence’s schedule
By default, the Geofence applies to all your trackers 24/7.

If you wish the Geofence to apply only to some specific trackers and/or only on specific days between specific hours, you can set additional schedules:

- Click on the Geofence
- Click on the Settings icon
- Under the menu "Schedule", press "Add Schedule"

  

- Select on which day(s) the schedule should be valid
- If you only wish the Geofence to be valid during certain hours, turn the "All day" option off, and set the start and end times.
- Select whether you wish to receive alerts when the tracker(s) enter(s) the Geofence, exits it, or both.

  

- Select the trackers this Geofence should apply to.
- Press "Done" on the top right corner of the screen
- Press "Save" on the top right corner of the screen

  

Delete a Geofence’s schedule
- Click on the Geofence
- Click on the Settings icon
- Click on the schedule you would like to delete
- Press on "Delete" on the top right corner of the screen (Android) or "Delete Schedule" at the bottom of the menu (iOS)

  

- Confirm by clicking on "Yes"
- Click "Save" on top of the screen

 

Deleting schedules cannot be undone!

4. Hur man delar ut en Trax till andra telefoner

Do you want to allow another user to follow your tracker? Here is how to do it:
In short
- Open the side menu (top left icon)
- Open the Sharing Center (third top icon)
- Go to "Share my device"
- Press the icon next to the tracker you wish to share
- Enter the email address of the person you wish to share it with (it needs to be the address they used to register for their own Trax account)
- Press "Save"

5. Har jag den senaste mjukvaran?

You can see on which firmware your Trax device is running.

Check firmware:

-Locate the tracker on the map (select it in the side menu).

 

-Click on the settings icon (gear).



-Scroll to the bottom of the page to check the firmware version e.g. 0.9.0.3



You may need to close your app and start it again for this information to be refreshed.

Here you can see what the latest firmware version is.
